I don't know if the spring is here yet, but it is going to be warmer and the snow will melt away. I have removed most of the fence in the front of our house. We will build the new fence next week if the weather are right for it.
You are really lucky that you are able to use the foundation of the fence. That will make it much easier to re-do. You might want to be careful with any precipitation. I don't know if that frame has been sealed properly and it would be a shame to do more work than you have to. I can't wait to see progress pictures.
